Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. His acting career started with performances in a variety of television shows, such as in Opposite Sex which premiered in 2000. Then, after appearances in a number of teenage films like 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he became famous for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans played in various films that were adapted from comics and graphic novels, like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America appeared in his role in Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 in 2015,), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame 2019. The latter brought him increased appreciation. The Marvel films made him one of the highest-paid Hollywood actors.
