Rosalia Vila is the Spanish pop and flamenco singer. From the time she was an teen, she has performed in popular and the traditional genres of music. Yet, her musical tastes also cover different genres like hip-hop and soul. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela described her voice as sweet and sharp, however she still full of the intensity and abrasions of more experienced singers. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was released in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she received the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and was also awarded the Grammy. In 2021, the hit single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami came out as her fourth album that was full-length. It featured collaborations on music writing with several musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. It came out on March 20th, 2022 just after the appearance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish vocalist to appear solo on the program. Along with taking home three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
