Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). As a young girl of just five, she moved to Oxfordshire and enrolled in the Dragon School. Emma was inspired to become an actor by the age of six. Over the course of several years she was enrolled in the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. She learned to sing as well as dancing, and also acting. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for the first time in 1999. Emma was discovered by Emma's Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone and Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been picked for these parts. The cast included Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's first appearance in a film was as a part of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the year 2001. It was the highest-grossing film of 2001 it set new records for its debut day opening and its opening weekend earnings. Critics were impressed with the movie and its performances. The highly distributed British newspaper The Daily Telegraph called her performance as admirable. Emma was later awarded five prizes to honor her role in the film.
